The Grenada Diaspora Youth Forum (GDYF) was set up to help educate, celebrate and build interest in Grenadian history and culture with young people of Grenadian descent. As such the GDYF has hosted a number of events that aim to fufill this purpose. This year the GDYF is presenting its second art exhibition (the first was in 2011) on Sunday November 24th 2013. The purpose of the art show is to promote Grenadian artists, celebrate the diverse artistic talents of Grenada and raise additional funds for the GDYF.

All artists wishing to participate in the art show are expected to pay £20.00 for entry. However all artists that do enter and participate would be able to sell their art work to prospective customers.

The main criteria that we are looking for entry in to the art show are:

The Artists must be based in London, United Kingdom or present in the UK for Sunday 24th November 2013.
We accept all kinds of art work but we are particularly looking to expand on having more performances being represented at this year’s art show. (dance, poetry, music etc).
The art work should preferably reflect some aspect of Grenadian life, society, history, culture and politics.
Entrants don’t have to be exclusively Grenadian, however a healthy understanding of life and culture in Grenada should be reflected in the art that is put on display.
If anyone has any further questions about entering the art show, feel free to contact me at this email address or the GDYF email address provided in the poster.
